Any family can join The Baby Sitters Club, however we understand the importance of safety and your peace of mind. We therefore follow procedures to ensure everyone is comfortable using the service:
- To join the club you must provide a reference and attend a short meeting with one of our long term members
- A new member must first use the service to receive a baby sitter before earning points by babysitting for another member
- New members must only have one booked request or agreed babysit at a time for the first month
- No overnight babysitting is permitted for the first 3 months of membership either taken or given
These procedures are put in place for your peace of mind but are not exhaustive, use of the service is entirely at the discretion of the committee and on agreement of the registration terms and conditions.
While we place safety as the most important factor, we do not want the membership process to discourage families from joining. All families are welcome to join, from all backgrounds and nationalities.
