Great Days Out is a fantastic scheme run by Hyndburn Borough Council, and lets the visitor see some of the area's best attractions all in one day - and have a great value lunch into the bargain!

Most of the days out centre around Accrington and surrounding towns such as Oswaldtwistle and are run at a leisurely pace to allow for greatest enjoyment of your time with us.  What's more, you can let us organise everything for you, meal requirements are taken care of in advance, so that just leaves you to enjoy your day!

Accrington - at the heart of Lancashire's hill country is Hyndburn's principal shopping town.  Built on wealth from local industry and innovation, much of the town centre is in a conservation area.  The vivid combination of Victorian architecture coupled with a sensitive approach to modern retail and leisure development ensures a warm welcome.

We are on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales, Pennines, Lake District, Manchester and the coast; making the town a convenient base for longer trips to the area.

Click the links to the left to find out what attractions you could visit, and what itineraries are available.  When you've decided which one's for you, click here to find out how to book!

Enjoy.
