This photo was taken by Sean Kerr in Autumn 2005. It features Hudson Street, Accrington in an Autumn sunrise. It looks amazing I bet you'll agree!

Grim Up North

Accrington resident Neil Hewson took these wonderful pictures in 2004 from the top and rear of Spring Street in Accrington.

Says Neil: "I thought your visitors to Hyndburn Life would like to know  that wonderful sun sets are not just for the countryside and southerners!"

Neil's images have the tongue in cheek title, 'Grim Up North'. For the keen photographers among you they were taken on a Manolta X-9 with a 50mm lens.

Neil's images have inspired us to come up with this new section on the site - a gallery of your images.

So, if you'd like to have your pictures of the area disaplyed on the site, simply send them via e-mail with details of where and when you took them to: info@hyndburnlife.co.uk
