If you're in business it's important you know your rights, and your responsibilites to your employees.  This section aims to point you in the right direction when it comes to employment law.  Over the last few years a number of important pieces of legislation have come into place which have given employees more rights, it's important you keep up-to-date.

The Government has launched a website giving much of the information businesses need to know.  The site, known as TIGER, gives details on issues such as employment law and employee relations.  Click here to take a look.

The Health and Safety Exectutive is the responsible body for H&S issues across the UK.  They deal with almost all health and safety risks in the workplace and have information on how the risks can be properly controlled and reduced.
