If you're in business one of your main responsibilities will surround health and safety at your workplace.

As owner of the business, you're responsible for ensuring that you and your staff are as safe as possible whilst at work, and provided with any equipment required for their safety.

Using the links to the right, you can access official Government advice from the Health and Safety Executive, as well as Lancashire Fire and Rescue.  The HSE oversees health and safety issues on factories, farms, hospitals and schools; as well as the movement of dangerous goods and substances, railway safety and many other aspects of the protection of workers and the public.  Their mission is to ensure risks in the workplace are properly controlled.
