Fergie’s night to remember

It was a night to remember for Enfield batsman Craig Fergusson when the club’s annual awards were presented by club stalwart George Holt 
Senior.

The young batsman celebrated his first season at the club with a handful of awards The former Church player picked up five awards, including the Bracewell Trophy for Player of the Year and four batting awards. One of the batting awards was one of three new prizes presented by Enfield supporter Bob Slinger.

David Bracewell picked up the bowling award and Mitch Taylor the award for 'Most Improved Player'. Mitch also won the 'Most Improved 
Young Player' award. First team skipper David Bracewell added another three awards to his haul, including the 'Players Player of the Year' 
and a share of the Ramsbottom Trophy for most sixes with his brother Adam.

Neil Holmes picked up the award for best bowling average and Maria Leeming won the 'Chairman's Award' for services to the club. Scott Wilkinson also had a night to remember winning four 3rd XI prizes. Safdar Mohammed won the 2nd XI batting average with Phil Wilkinson picking up the award for most runs. Matt Taylor took most wickets but the best average went to Hussan Ashraf.

The big hitting Simon O'Loughlin picked up the prize for most 2nd XI sixes. Aga Aslam was named 'Player of the Year' in the 3rds with Adrian Bond getting the nod in the Under 17s'.
