Cyclists

Hyndburn can be a great place for the cyclist.  Within the local area there are some great rides to be enjoyed, such as the canal towpath, or within easy distance is the Ribble Valley which offers great scenery and opportunities for the cyclist.

For the more enthusiastic amongst you, there are a number of cycling clubs locally which may be looking for new members.  Check out some of their websites if you want to find out more:

Blackburn & District Cyclists' Touring Club
Clayton Velo
North Lancs Road Club

If you're part of a cycling club we've not listed, please click here to email us and tell us about your group so we can list you too!

For those preferring a leisurely trip at an easy pace, try downloading this leaflet containing an interesting local route taking in west Accrington, Church and Oswaldtwistle.  To download the route, you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  If you've ot already got Acrobat Reader, click the link to the right to get your free copy.
