Spring Into Work

Jobcentre Plus is holding a Jobs Fair in the Ballroom at Accrington Town Hall on Thursday 9th March from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Jobs Fair will be the largest of its kind ever held in Accrington  and over 40 employers and organisations will be there on the day. The event will bring hundreds of jobseekers together with local and national  employers covering a broad range of occupations.  A wide range of vacancies, both full and part time will be promoted; there should be something to suit most people whether they are considering a change in job or are new to the labour market.

Some of the employers attending include:  Asda; Betterware; Bourne Leisure, Capita; Dunkenhalgh Hotel;  Express Gifts; Army and Police Recruitment; Micro-Peripherals; Sure Start; Tesco and many more.

In addition, Jobcentre staff will be on hand to advise those who receive benefits about the incentives that exist to held them return to work.

The event is being part-sponsored by the Government’s Neighbourhood Renewal Fund.
