Scrutiny of the Local Strategic Partnership’s Annual Performance Review by Central Government

Councillors on Hyndburn Council’s influential Service Improvement Overview & Scrutiny Committee will be undertaking a scrutiny on the Local Strategic Partnership’s Annual Performance Review 2004/2005.

The meeting will be held at 2.00pm on Wednesday 01st February, 2006 in the QE Room, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington and the meeting is open to the public.

Councillor David Mason, Chair of the Service Improvement Overview and Scrutiny Committee said: “The Committee has an important role to play in assisting in the improvement of  services provided to the residents of Hyndburn and will be scrutinising the outcome of the Local Strategic Partnership’s Annual Performance Review 2004/2005.  I look forward to receiving residents’ views on the 2004/2005 performance review of the Local Strategic Partnership at the meeting”.

Community Safety and Well-Being Overview & Scrutiny Committee

Councillors on Hyndburn Council’s influential Community Safety and Well-Being Overview & Scrutiny Committee will be considering the following work programme topics at its next meeting:- the provisions  of the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act (CNEA); a review on the safety of trees in the Borough; an update report on the impact on  the Hyndburn Borough of the High Hedges part of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003; and a consultation report on a review of the 
Grants to External Organisations Funding Policy.

The meeting will be held at 4.00pm on Monday 30th January, 2006 in the QE Room, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington and the meeting is open to the public.
