Description:

Adult workshops at the Haworth Art Gallery
The George Wallace Jardine exhibition is the inspiration for these workshops exploring the sort of subject matter he used.

The childhood worlds of dragons and giants, classical mythology and literature and imagery with ambiguous meaning can all be found in his magical
paintings. Make your own Surrealist painting using found images, objects picked at random and your own personal signs and symbols.

The workshops are being hosted by Susan Dodd. They are due to take place on Saturday 20th August, 10am to 4pm. Cost £15 (including materials) and Friday 26th August, 10am to 4pm. Cost £15 (including materials).

For complete workshop details and a booking form, please contact Haworth Art Gallery, Manchester Road, Accrington BB5 2JS. Telephone 01254 233782.

Please note that no places can be confirmed without a completed booking form and full payment. Numbers limited to 12 participants per workshop.
