Welcome to the environment section of Hyndburn Life.

The information in this section has been put together with the kind help of the Environment Agency, and contains information about the envronmental quality of the Hyndburn area. 

In addition, you can find information about the Prospects organisation - an environmental charity based in Hyndburn that supports local environmental initiatives.  Prospects works locally in eight of Hyndburn's towns, those being Accrington, Baxenden, Church, Clayton-le-Moors, Altham, Great Harwood, Huncoat, Oswaldtwistle and Rishton.
