Lancashire Adult Learning is Lancashire County Council's Adult Education Service.

Right across the county (with the exception of Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool), it offers a wide range of non-vocational classes, usually short courses of up to 10 weeks, in community venues.

It is committed to providing high quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individuals and communities from across the area we serve.

The service runs courses in community venues, such as libraries, community centres, churches and village halls.

Our friendly and informal approach provides a non-threatening way for people to ease themselves back into learning.

Lancashire Adult Learning is hosting a number of FREE courses in May 2005: from computers to languages. Times and venues vary. See the Residents' section calendar or download the PDF by clicking here for more details.
