Coleman aims to shoot down Shrimps

ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman is desperate to get one over on his former club when the Reds make the trip to Morecambe in the quarter-final of the Lancashire FA Marsden Trophy tonight (Tuesday).

Stanley lost out to their Conference rivals in the final of this competition last year and Morecambe legend Coleman admits his side owe the Shrimps one.

"We want to win this one, I want to win every game I play," said the manager. "I enjoy going back to Morecambe, I used to work under Jim Harvey so it has a lot of spice for me.

"But this is a competition we can win and it should be an entertaining game."

Meanwhile, defender Steve Halford has gone on loan to Droylsden for the rest of the season.
