Reds go for hat-trick

ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman is looking to make it a hat-trick of Conference wins as his side face two important home games in four days.

First up is Crawley Town tomorrow followed by Aldershot on Tuesday, two teams who were challenging for promotion with Stanley last season but now occupy the bottom two spots.

"I am surprised to see Crawley where they are," said Coleman after wins over Woking and Burton propelled his side into sixth place in the league. They are a good side but we are no stranger to unusual results in the Conference. Aldershot have had a bad time injury wise, I think they just had seven fit players at one stage but we have had some good games with them over the last few seasons."

Keeper Darren Randolph, who is on loan from Charlton Athletic and hopes to stay another month, said: "I watched Crawley v Aldershot on sky and we have got to treat each game as a cup final. We won't be underestimating anybody."

Coleman will definitely be without defender Andy Tretton and midfielder Andy Procter who both face knee operations while keeper Andy Dibble is hoping to shake off a thigh strain.

Captain Peter Cavanagh knows how important these games are: "It is important to win our home games as every three points is important. We celebrated after Burton like we had won the league and that is how is should be. I hope were are celebrating the real thing in May."
