Reds appoint new directors Promotion chasing Accrington Stanley has appointed two new directors. Former Lancashire Football Association secretary Jim Kenyon has joined the board along with long time sponsor Gary Slinger. Kenyon, who retired from the FA Last month, is well known in the area as a broadcaster for local radio as well as his football commitments. Slinger is a long time supporter and sponsor of the club. He is currently Plant Manager of Eaton's Truck Components factory in Manchester. Meanwhile, Stanley travel to nearest title challengers Exeter tonight. Leam Richardson returns to the squad following a one match ban picked up after collecting five yellow cards this season. However, Andrew Procter and Stephen Jagielka both miss the trip with knee injuries. The match, which could have an important impact on Stanley's entire season, is being shown live on Sky TV. |
