ACCRINGTON Stanley fans hope to be treated to the sight of their new international signing Romuald Boco for tomorrow's early kick off against Woking (1pm). The 20-year-old Benin captain signed for the Reds on Wednesday's transfer deadline day and chairman Eric Whalley has hailed it as "one of the biggest signings the club has ever made." The African comes with a good pedigree with 14 international caps and is a hero in his home country, Benin, which is near Nigeria and Ghana. "He is a very talented player," said the chairman of "Rommy" who they hope will get international clearance for Saturday. And manager John Coleman backed this up: "He has good movement and plenty of ability. He has played in the French Second Division and has done well on trial."
Stanley have also signed young Tranmere winger Paul Brown on loan and both could feature on Saturday as the Reds look to bounce back after three games without a win. They lost to Cambridge and Exeter and then it was a 2-2 draw with Scarborough on Monday, after the Reds had been 2-0 up.
"That was sickening and we have got to bounce back," said Coleman, after his side dropped to 12th in the Conference.
"We should be among one of the front runners in the league as we are good enough but we have got to start showing it soon as we can't let the gap between us and the top teams get too big.
"Woking haven't had the best of starts but will come here well organised and up for the game. It is a big game for us and we need a win."
Defender Andy Tretton is hoping to be back soon after suffering from a bruised knee in pre season while captain Peter Cavanagh took a knock against Scarborough.
