Jones Backs Stanley

CARDIFF City boss Dave Jones is backing Accrington Stanley to challenge for the top spot in the Conference next season despite his side's 3-1 win over the Reds in their friendly on Saturday.

The Coca Cola Championship manager said: "They are always tough games coming to Accrington Stanley. I came here with Wolves last season and it was the same.

"It was a hastily arranged friendly but I am friends with John (Coleman), Paul (Cook) and Flynny (Mike Flynn) and they were good enough to fit us in.

"They have some good players with plenty of experience and I don't think they will be far off this season. I wish them all the best."
