STANLEY celebrated their biggest win of the season with a comfortable victory over struggling Southport to keep the pressure on at the top of the Conference table.

The second placed Reds made it four wins out of four as Benin international Rommy Boco ran the show and caused turmoil for the 'Port backline.

Stanley opened the scoring on 31 minutes when Ian Craney fired home Gary Roberts cross for his seventh goal of the season.

Five minutes later and it was 2-0 when Boco finished well from a Paul Mullin flick on for his first Conference goal. The Reds could have had more with Southport keeper Steve Dickinson performing acrobatics to keep out the home forwards.

But Mullin finally made it three on 87 minutes before sub Andy Mangan added a fourth in injury time.

"The word before game be relentless in everything you do and keep going, keep going and you will get your rewards and it worked," said boss John Coleman. "We played well. I was disappointed in the second half that we free wheeled a bit for five or ten minutes but maybe I am being a bit picky but I was relieved when the third goal went in and we could relax a bit.

"We were very tuned into this game, we got the the ball quickly and we closed them down."
