ACCRINGTON Stanley assistant boss Jimmy Bell has talked about re-christening the Interlink Express Stadium the Interlink Entertainment Stadium.

After a six goal thriller on Saturday against Crawley, the Reds kept the Stanley fans on the edge of their seats with a five goal special against bottom club Aldershot - and this was despite the Shots being down to ten men.

"This must be good for the fans but it isn't good for the  management," confirmed Bell. "It's kamakaze at times but the supporters certainly get value for money and it is the win that counts."

That was Stanley's fourth consecutive victory - they have never done that in the Conference - and they now occupy third spot with the highest number of wins in the league, six, alongside leaders Exeter.

But it could have been so different. Stanley's Gary Roberts did hit the post in the opening minute but then there was a sustained period  of Shots pressure, finished with a Nick Crittenden headed goal on 24 minutes.

This suddenly woke the Reds up and then they launched wave after wave of attack with Steve Jagielka blasting the ball home on 35 minutes. Ian Craney set up David Brown for his fourth goal of the season on 41 minutes and Roberts then finished well on the stroke of half-time to seemingly put the game beyond the visitors' reach.

And it seemed the three points were in the bag when Matt Somner was sent off for lashing out at Peter Cavanagh on the hour.  But Stanley never make life easy and Tim Sills got one back on 77  minutes to make it a nervy finale. In the final minutes, Darren Randolph superbly denied Crittenden although Roberts could have wrapped it up for the Reds at the death  but blasted wide.
