Stanley make it 13 unbeaten

ACCRINGTON STANLEY 1 DAGENHAM 0

ACCRINGTON Stanley made it 13 league games unbeaten thanks to a Rommy Boco goal in their victory over in-form Dagenham.

Stanley bossed the play in the first half but couldn't get past a strong Daggers defence despite Ian Craney, Boco, Paul Mullin and Andy Todd all having a go.

Their pressure finally paid off when Boco turned in the area and fired home his fifth goal of the season on 54 minutes. However, Dagenham piled on the pressure after that and Stanley were thankful to some world class saves from keeper Rob Elliot - especially one in injury time - to send them 11 points clear at the top of the Conference table.

"There were some good performances out there," said boss John Coleman. "Rob made some good saves, Rommy was always a threat and Robbie Williams was outstanding.  "It is another game to cross off the list now and we have got to keep going."
