The overall aims of the regeneration team at Hyndburn First are to:

Encourage Local Business growth and diversity
Promote the area to attract new and sustainable investment
Maximise funding opportunities to assist infrastructure development
Encourage individuals and organisations to adopt 'Lifelong Learning' to equip them to compete now and into the future
Assist in the regeneration of our towns
Assist Local Community groups to harness resources
The Council encourages both competition and sustainability in all areas of the local economy. The team actively promotes the area and offers business development and support, and attempts to remove barriers to investment where possible.

Local residents and communities also focus heavily in the work of the team, which keenly encourages improvements to the local physical infrastructure and services.

Support is given to local community groups in the form of advice and information.
