Calling Hyndburn business brains

Hyndburn Enterprise Trust is calling for experienced business figures to help the region’s fledgling entrepreneurs.

The business mentor network currently has a number of advisors, who provide advice and tales of experience to the next generation of business leaders, but is calling out for more to come forward in East Lancashire.

The scheme trains professional business people to be advisers to local companies, and asks that they offer an average of two days’ each month.

Aileen Evans of Hyndburn Enterprise Trust says: “Our mentoring scheme has been a huge success so far, but the demand for mentors is a little higher than we can currently meet.

“That’s why we’re asking for successful business figures to come forward. It’s a fantastic scheme, with a lot to be gained for both parties, and we’re looking to hear from those who feel they have something to offer the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.”

For more details of the business mentoring scheme, please contact Jo Evans on 01254 828821.
